About Us Two peas in a pod! Nah! One horse and hounder and  one die hard music, movie and gym fan - it can't be more perfect! We have our mutual passion in our new home and in our dogs that keep us more than busy. How did  we meet - hmm - in trainingclass! And from there we have moved on. We got married at Meadow Farm the home of Roger and Evelyn Rechler on Long Island in June, 2006 and it was an event to remember. The Rechlers graciously hosted this magnificent event and we are forever grateful. Please click on the photo to the left for more pictures from the wedding. We have five dogs of our own but we also co-own, train and show other dogs living with their owners. Ben is the official Giant groomer and Anna takes care of the Afghan coats. Ben's family is from Italy and we have been back there to visit twice in the past three years. Anna had never really been to Italy so this was a treat. The country is insanely beautiful, interesting and with a million things to see and do. Last year we spent two weeks exploring among other places - Venezia - Venice and we could go back any minute. This June we are heading to Sweden and Denmark - another oasis in the world - to see Anna's sister Asa and her partner Anna's second baby Linus'. There will probably be some serious sailing going on as well with Reverie the 45 foot wood Sparksman and Steven's sailboat and a visit to the World Show in Denmark with Glory. Anna grew up in Sweden riding horses, sailing and going to dog shows with her parents' Afghans. Soon the dogs grew into a passion that took over. Having her grandparents in ski country there was a lot of that in the winter. Finishing college in 89' she worked with everything from science to candy store manager, spending summers running a strawberry farm and riding horses. In 93 she went to UK to do the traditional Au-pairing - met the Rechlers at Windsor dog Show and the first ever world afghan congress and the rest is they famously say - history! She grooms and wrestles dogs during the week and moonlights for friends as a model - something you would never beleive if you saw her during the week. Ben grew up with a passion for soccer and music always wanting a dog - but as in many cases - parents said no! A cat or two snuck in but that was about it for animals. Travelling with his parents back and forth to Italy during his younger years his first language is Italian and admits to learning English as a 3 or 4 year old with Sesame street! Along came college in Buffalo and then on to being a paramedic in NYC. A job that earned him a lot of experience. After that it was on to police academy and he is currently a 15 year veteran on the police force. Ben is THE handyman and can or will learn how to do exactly anything! He is also an excellent house cleaner and makes sure our house is presentable - since Anna is more of a scatterbrain!!   Our house at New years 2008-09
