Our Beautiful and Wonderful foster dogs!
In early 2007 mayhem broke loose when a couple in Pennsylvania was found having way to many and malnourished dogs. Among
them 19 afghan hounds. Affectionally named - the Chambersburg afghans - we got to share a few months with these special girls.
They are now adopted together in the best family you could ever wish for them.
We get to see them at here
and there and it is so special!!
Pippi now Maddie and her mom Scarlett - daughter and mother are always part of
us!

We now share our home with Charlotte - one of the New Mexico afghans. She
is a very scarred individual but we are seeing a lot of progress in a few weeks. We hope that Charlotte will be able to move
to her permanent home in another month or so. To foster animlas that have had a less fortunate start in life is a very big
part of our lives. It does feel fulfilling to finally see them happily trot off into the sunset with thier new families. As
empty as it gets.. It does get easier!
