Hej!
We went to visit with family and friends in July and started out
by strolling with Owen below the royal castle in Stockholm. If you have never been to the land of midnight sun (at least in
July!) it's well worth the trip for many reasons.
We drove 4 hours north to visit with my 87 year old grandmother
in Torsby. She is pictured with Ben infront of the same building they lived in since 1963! After that we drove south
to visit with Anna, Asa and Hanna Elisabeth that is now two months old and does not like clothes! That's a pity since
we dragged clothes for her. :) Naked beauty is her motto! I kind of agree!
They have a gorgeous "torp" aka.
summer cottage but with no electricity or running water it felt kind of strange at first but you got used to it real quick!
Owen came along and ran around with old ladies Hanna (the whippet) and Loka (the greyhound) Tassa and Tessla the cats and
a whole bunch of relatives.
The view and the water and just about everything made you think you where in heaven. Food
was great too!
Mom and dad took us into town for Tall Ships Race. This trip to Sweden was way to windy to get any family
sailing in. These ships were outstanding and also part of a huge schooling program for youth that goes on all summer year
after year.
Ben is pictured on board Gratia a very well known school ship in Sweden that have piloted thousands
of kids over the years.
Stina and Ester stayed clean for about ten minutes after the shows!
Please check
back for more pictures soon!
