News for 2010
1-2-10 Winter is in full force and our dogs are enjoying the break from work and activities by romping in the snow, sleeping on the couch and help with all the cooking.
Sofia and Nacira will go to Westminster and we are looking forward to some warm up shows before that!
1-8-10 Sofia and Glory went to have some tests done and all is in good order. Maybe we will have puppies one day! It's deep freeze in New York but we just entered our first show of the year! Trap Falls!

Westminster 2010 - Monday starts with a bang and Nacira wins the breed under Frank Sabella. WOW! She performs wonderful in the group and we are on cloud nine still!
Tuesday - Sofia wins another Award of merit among 17 of the countrys most winnigest Giants. Skansen gets a clean sweep!
March 2010- Sofia starts off with Group placements under Robert Hutton (4), Everett Dean (2), Robert Vandiver (3) and Charlie Olvis (2). Amelia picks up another major reserve :) her ninth!

May 8-9  We started out having a great Bucks! Sofia won Giants, Glory won whippets, Amelia was resreve for a major again and I finished the Rhodesian "Dartagnan. Then I ended upp in an ambulance with arryhthmia really bad - so bad they had to take me to the hospital. Werte I spent te afternoon with Teri who came to my rescue. Kristin Karboski and Kristyn McCartney took care of Sofia and Kristin handled Sofia to GROUP FIRST at Bucks County! In my dreams I would never hope for this! Judge was Mr. Neville Hodgkins of Autralia.
Lesley Potts came to our aid and handled Glory in the group beautifully and got pulled again at Bucks so we were thrilled. Thank you to Travis Cramsey my sometime assistant for all his help this weekend. The next day Sofia was the winner of the Working Group again and I sat on a chair feeling pretty happy but very weak after the ordeal just admiring our girl. All is well - I am fine but the arrythmia can come back and I have to take medication and be very careful. Glory was amazing and signalled that something was wrong before it even happend.

May 15 Had to get back in the saddle and did so on my own by going to the dog show. Very nervous. very shaky but nothing happend and all was good. Sofia was Best of Breed.
May 22 Off to Long Island Kennel Club and Sofia was once again the vicot of the Working Group. Judge was Lynette Salzman! Very happy. In 6 shows - 5 group ones!!!!

Thank you!
